WHY SPROCKET?
We got our name from the essential part of every bicycle— a sprocket. One of Caspar’s passions (besides coffee) is cycling. An avid cyclist, he has travelled by two wheels over France, Italy, and now Canada.

We are proud to be serving premium beans from Lavazza— founded in Turin, Italy in 1895. With sustainability as a company focus, we join with the initiatives set forth by Lavazza to be proactive about deforestation and many more sustainably practices.

Italians do it best— from espresso beans to espresso machines. We are keeping everything high quality with our Rocket Boxer Espresso Machine. Crafted in Milan, this machine blends cutting-edge technology with the finest Italian craftsmanship.

Being vegan has been a part of our lives for years, and while we’re passionate about it, we understand the challenges of dining out. We believe plant-based products can be just as delicious and decadent, which is evident in our baked goods and alternative milks—you won’t taste the difference!

Louise & Caspar
Originally from the UK, High River has been home to us for 4 years now. Our love for the community and the location are what made it easy to call our home.
Being the gateway to Kananaskis, Caspar quickly developed a keen liking to the great routes and the cycling community here. As you may have guessed— this is what inspired the name and theme for the cafe!
Our passion for Italy has deep roots, born from both the privilege of traveling across its beautiful landscapes and the unique opportunity to work there. This firsthand experience has not only shaped our appreciation for the country’s rich culture, but also our commitment to using premium Italian products. We believe that the excellence, craftsmanship, and innovation found in Italy’s finest creations are unmatched, and we are proud to bring these exceptional qualities into everything we offer!
